I’m Michele Scognamillo — a photographer out of passion, out of conviction, and out of a story that began long before I ever pressed my first shutter.
Growing up as the son of a professional photographer, I didn’t learn photography from a textbook. I lived it — at events, behind the scenes, alongside people who knew how to read a moment before it happened…

OUT THERE, SOMETHING HAPPENS TO ME.
When I photograph in nature, I lose all sense of time. There are moments — a certain light, a scene that suddenly opens up — where I have to pause before I even raise the camera. Not out of hesitation. Out of respect.

PRESENCE
I read environments before I photograph them. Whether it’s a machine park, the wilderness, or a corporate campaign — I understand the context I’m working in. The result: images that don’t show what something looks like — but how it feels.
CRAFT
Photography fascinates me — technically, in craft, and aesthetically. That’s why I keep developing my skills continuously. What that means for your project: maximum quality, no compromises.
ATTITUDE
Perfectionism is my greatest vice — and your greatest advantage. An image is finished when it convinces me. Only then does it land in your hands.
